Johnstown Strawberry Festival

From 2:00 - 5:00, a multi-cultural event featuring Gaelic, Mi'kmaq, Acadian and English languages in an outdoor mass held at the Guadalupe Shrine on the hills overlooking the Bras d'Or Lakes in Johnstown. A procession to the parish hall for strawberries, biscuits, bonnach and oat cakes completes the afternoon. Visitors can enjoy the Guadalupe interpretive center in the church vestry or follow the Guadalupe Trail to the top of the hill and enjoy the view across the lake and down to St. Peter's.
